it’s the little things...

we believe the little things don’t always make sense, but they can cut through the clutter, melt your defences, and push logic aside. little things can take you by surprise. they can make you giggle, rattle your memory and pull on your heartstrings. little things can make a difference and britt design strives to bring these  feelings into our lives through her designs and products.

... they can evoke memories.

taking us back and reminding us of when we were little, when things were easier and we didn’t have to worry so much.  we love those memory-filled moments of nostalgia. those little time warp moments where - you get lost. it’s just a split second, but it takes you back, and time does slow down. those little memories connect you to your past, to the little person you used to be. we were all little people once, with little friends – and we still are really.

... they can spark moments.

we love those times when there’s a serious moment and something suddenly snaps you out of it. when you’re in a bad mood and something makes you start giggling. or when you’re sad, and something makes you smile – and brightens your day. our favourite moments are those ones when you forget what should happen, when you lose yourself – that split second when you surrender, and just let go. there’s something undeniable in those moments, something pure. an unexpected, natural reaction that comes from the inside.

... they can make you melt.

we love feeling spoiled. the britt team believes little indulgences can be way underestimated. (we confess to thinking a lot about the pleasure of heading home to put on a pair of comfy fluffy slippers.)  we love when big people let down their guard long enough to be touched by something – when grown men smile at the  thought of his childhood teddy. it reminds us that we’re still kids at heart.
